can anyone tell me diet plans that have worked for them, fast and effectively?
im not humongo at or overweight, but im in serious trouble with my weight.. it seems like every diet i try just isnt working.. i exercise and play sports but i am not losing weight and just gaining it.. i have gained to much weight in a very short period of time and its making me very unhealthy.. i need actual advice and tips that have worked for you.. please help!

Weight Watchers worked best for me. About 2 lbs. a week.

Stop eating refined foods, mostly white sugar and white flour. This includes all processed foods. You won't miss white bread after a while. Seems like you are doing pretty good with the exercise. Keep it up! :) Like you, I have been on a number of diets and I loose the weight and then i would gain it right back, sometimes more than I lost. I am now avoiding all refined foods, I do not dine out much anymore. If I do, I eat mostly seafood or I stick with all protein, fruits, and veggies. You can also sense the way you feel after eating certain foods. If the feeling is not good, avoid the food. For example, everytime I eat wheat products, I would be bloated and I would also develop a headache. So I am avoiding wheat products. Pay attention to your body and how it feels. Sometimes the way you feel after eating can be a good indication of what you should eat and not eat. Another thing, try cutting down on the portion size. Eventually you will not miss large servings. Hope this helps. It worked for me. I am now 20 pounds lighter.

I went to work in the Middle East for 18 months. Lost 60 lbs in the first 3 months I was there and still ate great! Crab legs, steak, lobster, and shrimp most every night. The main reason I lost the weight was the heat and the physical activities of my job.

first of go see a doctor rather than yahoo answers.
some advice, jog in the moring BEFORE you eat anything, this way your body uses FAT as fuel instead of carbs that you mostly ingest for breakfast.
weight train. muscles eat up alot of calories. go to a gym to "tone" your muscles, 1 hour 2-3 days per week. use light weights>
Drink LOTS of pure water, try for 8 glasses per day, water is a KEY part of weight loss!! Try it, it works!!
