I get really smooth icy margaritas by mixing a bottle of margarita mix, a bottle of tequilla, 1 cup of triple sec, and water in a rubbermaid pitcher with a lid. I do this a few days before I want to drink the margaritas. When it's time to serve, I stir the mixture and run it through the blender for the smoothest icy margaritas. Play with the ingredients to get them the strength you want...just don't use ice.

    Top shelf margarita....

    1 shot Sauza Hornitos

1 shot Cointreau (way better than triple sec)

3 shots Finest call Sour mix.

If you have the time you can also substitute the sour mix with fresh squeezed limes - doesn't make large quantities, but taste fantastic.
