Can anyone think of examples of words which are associated, such as elbow grease or coat rack?

This is for language research. We need a list of noun pairs which have meaning by themselves but mean something else together. Other examples could be traffic light, diamond ring, tree house. It seems easy but it's kinda tricky.

    These are called "Compound Words"

    Airplane and lipstick probably don't count....

    Picture frame.

    Hair style.

    Dresser drawer.

    Television set.

    Radio dial.

    Finger nail.

    Dip stick.

    Hair brush.

    Pig sty.
