Is Citgo feeling the impact of Chevez's statement regarding our president?

Or is it just business as usual with little or no impact.

Or is it business as usual with little or no impact. If there is any fluctuation, is that just a result of 7-11's decision? Is anyone following this or am I the only one?

I doubt it, since many people probably dont' even realize the citgo gas station is part of Chavez's sphere of influence.

Citgo has record profits just like every other oil conglamorate that milked the US citizens in this last monopoly hike. Oil prices remaining stable is what it is all about - The Iraq War and interventions in the Middle East in general.

If one company or producer's profits fell, the entire market would crash and that will not be allowed to happen. Look at the aftermath of 9-11 where reserves were opened up to avoid this for further evidence of my claims.

Chavez is jockeying for political power. He sent Noam Chomsky's (awesome) book to #1 again on the NYT best seller list. That is about the only market fluctuation Chavez caused.

Viva Chavez! (by the way, he is the best world leader in 2006).

I highly doubt it is having any impact, particulary since most Americas seem to have no clue that it is owned by Venezuela. It WILL for sure have an impact because yesterday (September 26, 2006) 7-Eleven stores announced they would not be renewing their 20 year contract with Citgo. Once 7-11 stops selling your product, it will have an impact.

Millions of Americans have increased their purchases at Citgo stations to compensate for the dimwitted nit-wits who boycott Citgo.

Chavez speaks for over half of America.
