Relevance

An easy way to remember what 10^x is, is a 1 followed by x zeroes.

In this case, 10^9 is a one followed by 9 zeroes, or 1,000,000,000. As everybody else but those who were wrong has said.

• To find out 10 to any power you just take the power number and add that many zeros after one. For example: 10 to the first = 10; 1 zero after the one. 10 to the third = 1000; 3 zeros after the one.

• with powers of ten u just add that many zeros to 1 (10 to the power of 9=1 with 9 zeros=1 000 000 000) 1 billion

• 10 to any power is a 1 followed by that many zeros.

• 10 to the 9th power, or 10 to the 9th, or 10 exponent 9 is 10 multiply by itself 9 times which will give you the number 1 000 000 000

1,000,000,000 not 10 billion

• 1000000000

10 to the anything power is a one followed by the power

10 to the 4th power would be 10000

10 to the 79th power would be 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

(You get the idea)

• 10*10*10*10*10*10*10*10*10=

1,000,000,000

• 1,000,000,000 or in other words, one billion
