Where in the South Pacific do they have grass huts raised about 3 ft above the ground?

What people, tribe, etc. and why did they build off the ground? Especially about 70 years ago.

    Any place where they have monsoons. Helps keep the house from being washed away when the winds blow the water over the land.

    Clinton is not much better than Bush. I am actually a conservative, but 9/11 is an inside job, do the research.
