Vermiform appendix is an organ which is used for the digestion of cellulose. Since tigers are carnivores and do not feed on plants, appendix in them is vestigial in function ( useless) and the same applies for humans too.Source(s): i am preparing for the Pre-Medical Test so we study these things.hope my answer helped.
