Some may find my answer cynical, but there is little to be done to achieve global awareness. Many people, for example, still stubbornly insist that the Apollo man to the moon program, perhaps mankind's greatest achievement, was just a publicity stunt. And today, on the fifth anniversary of 9/11, a Scripps Howard poll tells us more than a third OF AMERICANS suspect the attacks were an inside job (with federal officials either helping the hijackers or at least knowing about them in advance). And then there is the Holocaust...Gulag Archipelago...Darfur...Gore loss in 2002...everyone has their own list, each an infinite testament to humanity's idiotic propensity for denial, blame-gaming, and lack of awareness of reality...

Do you mean there are still people who think the world is flat?
