Ladies with little boys, Help!!?

I have a little boy who likes to put on my underwear. He is 6 almost 7, I have currently found out he has wore them under his several times to school. Now he is a typical boy, likes boys stuff and watches nothing but guy stuff and enjoys it, and he does not like to do anything else that has to do girls just that. He also likes to spend more time with me than my husband, and is a very emotional little boy. Have you had that problem now or before? And or have you done anything about it?

my son is very attached to me as well. he is definitely a boy's boy (soccer, karate etc) but he loves his mom and can get clingy at times (he's 9 and almost as tall as me lol)

i don't have any direct experience with the underwear issue, but can only suggest that he prefers the feel of your panties to his. i wouldn't read anything into this and, as some others have suggested, do not make a big deal of it. i understand that it could be unnerving but just try telling him that these are your special panties and ask him if he would like special panties of his own.

take him shopping and try to buy soft cotton underwear for him. boxers were a huge hit with my son and with several of my friends' sons. if he doesn't wear these yet, that might be worth a shot. perhaps he has more 'freedom' in your panties that he doesn't have with briefs?

    hope this helps you :o)

No I haven't had that problem. I have 3 boys, they are 8, almost 6, and almost 4. My boys, especially my youngest are very attached to me and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. However, I would maybe ask a Dr. or something about the underwear situation. I'm sorry I really don't know what to tell you.

I agree that maybe he just likes the feel or look of your undies, or is just mucking around, being a kid. Maybe he just wants to be close to you when he's at school. You'll never know unless you ask him, but be casual about it so he doesn't freak out and not tell you.

He's not gay and if he is going to become gay, that won't have been decided until much later. Whatever the reason, it is not a sexual reason, I can tell you that. He's a child.

The only way to know what is going on in his head is to ask him. And maybe let him choose some special undies from the shop, or give him something else of yours to keep with him at school. Good Luck!

Well my little guys are only 2 and 6 months, but if that were to happen to me I would say to have his dad explain to him about girls clothes and boys clothes and what is and is not acceptable. Also have your husband ask him why he likes to wear your underwear. But don't make him feel bad. He is probably just a mommy's boy! I wouldn't worry about anything like him being gay or anything!

You need to tell him those are your underware and he is not to touch them, ever! Make that clear to him.

He is probably overly emotional because in the past you have played it up. Don't let him dramatize things, the more attention you pay to little things he does, the more he will do them.

Perhaps you could suggest to your husband to find a hobby the two of them could share together. Then they can have "their" time and get a chance to bond, your son could use some male interaction.

my son is just 5 and finds it humorous to get one of my bras and run around the house, usually when I am busy doing household chores, I tell him its mine and he has his own boys underwear, and thats that, it is very common for little boys to dress up their moms clothes and stuff, they grow out of it, if he were in his tween years then I might worry. My son had a thing for picking out pretty girl shoes when he was younger and I simply explained that they were for girls, that stopped soon after. No worries he is typical, just make sure he knows they are for mommies and boys dont wear them.

still normal to want to spend time with you. I wouldn't worry about the underwear thing till he is 10 or so and doing it and then accept him for who he is. I would tell him not to wear to school though because the kids may not be too understanding

dont stress over this,if your daughter wanted to wear your husbands shorts you would not be concerned right? People let their minds wander when they have boys that do weird stuff..they are just as normal as the girls. If you make a big deal than it may embaress him.I would work on the "please ask me before you take my stuff because some things i dont want leaving this house" speech. Before you know it he will be grown up and this will be a cute memory.

You need to sternly explain to him that your underwear is for women! Don't confuse him by insisting he is homosexual. He is just a rambunctious little boy that acts on humor, fun, etc... Just like when boys joke with a bra. For all you know, he may be doing so for attention at school.

its normal for children to like their moms more than dad and to want to be with them more often than their dads.

As for the underware, i wouldnt read too much into it. Just explain to him that its not okay to wear other peoples undies. Maybe take him out and get him some more exciting ones of his own. You might just have some that feel better or look brighter than his.

Its more than likely an innocent thing.
