People usually say that it is the headphones that will make you deaf (not the machine) no matter what type you use, try turning it down to a level you have trouble hearing, eventually your ears will become sharper and you can listen without damage.

If you turn up the volume too loudly on anything, yes, it can damage your hearing. Regardless of if it is an iPod or not.

iPod has updated their software so that the volume can only be turned up to a certain level.

No. Is depends how you use the device.

If you turn the sound loudly, the u need to take care ur ears.

It is not becouse of what kind/brand of music player you use but because of your attitude to use that device.

iPods by themselves do not make you deaf.

Listening to them at an unhealthy volume will.

It depends how loud you play it on either one.
