scabs all over my dog?

every time I brush my dog these little scabs every where come off and into his curry comb. does anyone know what this would be and what I could do about it. there is also a couple of pin point size bleeding spots that I noticed when I looked through his hair after brushing him. He has been itching alot, I dont see any fleas! I dont know if it could be what Im bathing him with . What I had used was a 1 part mixture of baking soda, peroxide and dish soap. I used this mixture because my dog had rolled in some type of animal feces. Any ways the dish soap was sunlight and he had been bathed in a period of 3 weeks . He was bathed 3 times. He has never had this problem before. Help please. thanks!

Update:

the dog is a golden retriever/ labrador retriever he is 3 years old

Could have a skin condition causing this or fleas have actually imbedded into his skin. It could be a variety of things but you need to get your pet to a vet right away because he could get an infection. He could have eczema and the washing and brushing might be irritating it or something. Best bet is to consult a vet though because if you use something to treat it and that isn't the problem it can make it worse!

Your dog probably has or had fleas and you just don't see them now. From what you have described, that is exactly what is wrong with him. The mix you used for shampoo is perfectly OK. I would suggest putting him on the monthly application for fleas. It is rather expensive but well worth the price we pay, just to keep our pets happy, and also our homes flealess. There is a pill called Capstar that will kill all fleas on your dog within one to two hours, and it keeps working for about 24 hours. It is safe to use every day until fleas are gone. Vacuum the house good and it may be necessary to get a few flea bombs to set out. Remember, if you use these, leave the house for at least four hours, taking your pet(s) with you.

This could be from fleas, or a reaction to the soap. Use the light green shampoo by "fresh N Clean". Wash him with it once a week. This will fix your problem. Make sure you ALWAYS use conditioner, too...

it could be what you washed him in. i would only use soap in the future meant for dogs. it could also be allergies. my moms dog who is 3 suddenly was itching and was scabby too so she took him to the vet who confirmed it was an allergic reaction to something and gave him a shot and the problem was resolved
