Is it possible?

Is there any way to get a irrational number by adding, subtracting, multipying, or dividing rational numbers together?

The only way to get an irrational number from a rational number would be to square the rational number. For example, if you square 2 you would get an irrational number. Hope this helps you out.

yeah. if you add 3/4 to 1/4, you get 1. 1 can be written as a/b, meaning its a rational number.
