Why is Pi r*2 derived?
My geometry teacher gave me this question and i didn't know anything about it.

this means the area of a circle this is what you can use to find it r is the radius pi stand for 3.14 or 22 over 7
3.14 x radius squared is equal to area of circle
r*2 means rxr

It is the equation for working out the area of a circle.
