What is the world's oldest profession?

I found the REAL answer in a textbook.

Update:

Think culturally based... who was very important in the tribe/ group? This profession had a immense authority and respect from the people...

Update 2:

Besides Hunterer and Gatherer of course.

Update 3:

Consultant is awfully close... but not quite.

Update 4:

A more specific consultant...

GADDS these answers are scary - - - quite obviously if one accepts evolution then earliest Humans were gathering fruits & nuts & other edibles and obviously the person who was most clever & skillful at harvesting/collecting food was the first professional, the first person whose talents earned them a leadership role - - - the second oldest profession was that of the Boss, the Bully with a heart of gold who cozied up toi the first excellent harvester/collector and began pimping out their skills. Peace - - -
