Some say in his concept of human development that Sigmund Freud emphasized sexuality too much?

    Although Freud did emphasize sexuality way too much, not only was it a "good start" for the science of Psychology, but it also gave theories and ideas for future generations of Psychology scholars to delve into and rethink.

    Some of his basic concepts turned out to be the spring board for many other psychology greats who came after him.

    So although he did emphasize sexuality too much, he had a great beginning and we should be greatful that he was able to document so much of his theories and ideas. We would not be where we are today in the field if it were not for him.

    i think he did. he made it seem like sexual drive is the only thing keeping us going from cradle to grave. i think he had a very low and perverted opinion of the human race

    well he did have some good points, but all in all he was a heroin adict and who listens to druggies anymore?
