Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue (for shopping), State Street (for shopping), Water Tower (located on Michigan Avenue), Lincoln Park Zoo (it's free), Sears Tower, John Hancock building (cheaper to go up to the top versus Sears Tower), Wrigleyville (check out the Cubs stadium, plus they have tons of bars, places to hang out), Goose Island is a cool karoke place (its in Wrigleyville), The Aquarium is really amazing, so are the museums. Take a walk down by the water over near the museum -very pretty and relaxing. Millenium Park has the cool bean exhibit on display (located on Michigan Avenue).
