will my father leave jail soon?

my father is due to leave jail on the 6th which is tuesday. will they release him the same day or will they make him wait a while longer. he has been there for 2 years.

    as a former prison guard i can tell u they usually release on the date do out. hope dad gets home soon. mgood luck 2 u all.

    If he is in California, he could get out even sooner. The jails in CA are overcrowded and they let everyone out early. If he is scheduled to be out that day, then most likely he will be out that day unless he blows it by doing something that is inappropriate in the jail. You may want to call the jail and ask, tell them that you are his daughter.

    He will be released on Tuesday unless something occurs between now and then for which he must be disciplined.

    Well, you said they are supposed to release him on the sixth, but maybe all the paperwork might back it up. If you got paperwork for it, finish it ASAP.

    Processing can often take a year or more. Even once he is released, they may detain him again for further processing, up to 7 months...

    if they the 6th then tey probably mean the six. unless there are complications or he has bad behavior or something.
