Beleifs don't really change, we are still in the same strong overall faith. Customs change, since the church is a living and active belief that works within a society.

Changes started as early as the bible, showing us that change does happen, we saw it go from Peter requireing everyone that wanted to be a Christian to be a jew first, to accepting Gentiles into the faith

Beliefs don't change. The Mass went to the vernacular language after Vatican II, but the core beliefs and the basic structure of the Mass is the same.

What beliefs are you referring to?

Because people and cultures change, religions have to change.
