Middle School Drama (Friendship Problems)?

my 2 best friends and i promised we would all go see this one movie together and then they went with out me knowing i really wante to go. and there were many chances i could have gone but i said no because i promised them then when i told them that they were like gosh its just a movie but i'm always feeling like the third wheel and it just that the totally blew me off. what should i do i dont want to ruin our friendship over something like thisi've known them since kindergarden and i'm in 8th grade now. so were goin on our nith year of friendship. So my main question is it wrong for me to be upset because at first they were apoligizing and then they said "what ever i dont care anymore. your getting mad over a stupid movie and its not smart. So....whatever!" word for word and it makes me really sad. and what can i do to make our relationship stronger?

i totally understand how you feel, because things like that happened to me back in middle school too. it sucks when your friends get mad at you for feeling left out, its not fair for them to chew you out like that. drama like this happens SO often in middle school and junior high. to answer your question, no it is definately not wrong for you to be upset. next time this happens (if it does) you should calmly approach your friends and tell them, 'hey, you know what, i dont like it when you leave me out, especially if you know i want to hang out with you guys, so if you want to stay friends, please treat me with respect.' if they still treat you like crap, then maybe these girls arent friends worth your time.

I read what you posted on my question. Face the facts, they probably are better friends with eachother, but that doesn't mean that they don't like you, too.

Sometimes the best thing to do is act like you don't care. Just ignore them. It'll be hard at first, because I can tell that you really do love them as friends. But they'll come back to you, begging for your attention. However, you can't just accept them back into your life all at once. Do it little by little, and never let them get as close to your heart again --because they'll just break it once more. Most importantly, always expect that they'll make you feel left out if they can. Don't feel shocked or surprised, because you'll know that its going to happen.

Girls are jerks to eachother in middle school and highschool. Unless they mentally mature, they'll stay that way.

I know what it feels like to be third wheel, and it's NOT fun. I have experience. Just a little background here... in fourth grade, my friends CONSTANTLY fought with each other. I mean, CONSTANTLY!!! I was usually not on any side, but that hurt even more when I was pressured into choosing who was right. We called each names and talked behind each other's bacls. It went as far as having to go to the school counselor and even to the principal.

No, it is NOT wrong for you to be upset. Tell them how you feel, and when they just wave it by going, "Whatever...," then tell them how you feel about THAT and keep persisting. Talk with them. Tell your parent or guardian or whoever, but if you don't want to do that (I understand 'cause I never told my mom about my experiences), then ask why they ditched you or did what they did. Tell them that it hurt and it didn't really make feel all that great. Tell them that it made you feel bad and that you wanted them to know that. Just TELL them!!! I hope all ends well. :)

I don't know how to make it stronger. But did u tell them how it really made u feel? I juss had something like that happen to me and they said the same thing, try hangin out with some other ppl u know every once and a while. Don't ditch them juss give them and yourself some space. Sometimes best friends need time away from eachother.

dont get all upset about it... if they keep doing it, maybe you should just move on.. i mean.. i know uve been friends for a loooong time, but if u r all mad and upset and feel bad whwnen u ar around them.. id rather find another friend that u can b happy and have fun with...

not saying right now do that.. but if they really get u feeling bad... dont just let them trample you.. suck it up and fight back.
