My husband, due to hip conditons, sleeps in a recliner, what kind of recliner can we take on vacations?

As stated above, my husband has to sleep in a recliner. It is impossible for him to sleep in a bed, even propping up his legs with a pillow doesn't work. To go to any hotels and find a recliner is really hard to find. Any ideas on what kind of recliner we can get that we can just put in the vehicle and then take it into the hotels. A lazy boy is just a little too big to put in a vehicle.

I would recommend calling ahead to motels/hotels, many provide with no additional charge sleeping arrangements for those with medical problems. Call ahead, request a recliner, you may be surprised how eager people can be to assist, once they are informed of a medical condition a person suffers from.
