What causes cramps after orgasm?

This has only happened to me once before, when I thought I was pregnant. Now, all of a sudden, I'm cramping after an orgasm , the first time it was followed by a very little bit of spotting, that went away within half hour. This is new for me..any answers will help. Thanks

orgasms are caused by muscle contractions. (eventhough you may not have been very active or maybe you were I dont know) it takes a lot of energy and work to achive those contractions and thats the bodies way of reacting to all the work and blood flow going to that area
