Math is always with Science. There are science terms (like work, force, energy) that need calculations. Then there's Math....

I'm sorry but that's the only thing I know...

Math is the working horse of science.

    strong in natural sciences

    weak in social sciences

science needs math, math needs science

maths deals with abstract structures (ie numbers, sets etc) and relations between them (ie functions, relations etc). most of these concepts evolved from other fields (ie numbers evolved from the need to count sheep, derivation evolved from the need to express motion in math terms etc). in every science you can either find that something corresponds to some mathematical structure (and then you can express and work with it in precise, mathematical terms), you see a structure but there is nothing like it in maths (then you expand mathematics with new structures). if you cannot do any of these, you need to do more research :)

maths and science are inter-related phenomena. They depend on each other like couple of a family.
