    here are some answers given.

i;d like to share som opinio.

    There are several ways :

    1) Use second HDD for backup

pros: fast , save, easy - in - use way

cons : u'll need HDD and backup software

    2) if data u want to backup isn't too much u could backup them to DVD.

pros: save, cheaper then way 1

    cons : quite troublesome

    3) Online backup :

pros : no need to look for DVD's(or any other removable disk) fast, save. just briliant

cons: unfortunately such backup utility as usuall is quite expensive.

anyway, i'd recommend u to click link below.

this is company which specializies on backups, so they should help.

Like they said another hard drive to copy what you want to it. I prefer DVD backups because a second hard drive can crash too but the info will always be there if I put it on a DVD.

If you are a home user then backup your data on another hard disk. Just connect it as a secondary and copy all data from primary to it.

Buy an external hard drive format it with your operating system and then copy it all onto it. Best way really.

What Phil said! Install a slave drive and buy some ghosting software or partition magic!

    or
