i'm 13 and 5"8 and weigh like 146 lbs, how do i loose weight safely???

I really wanna be @ a healthy weight and look good ( get all that fat off ( mostly cause i d-o gymnastics and i hate wearing leotards.......

    You are only 13, and can easily build healthy patterns now while your young, which is good. Also, I work at a gym and coach gymnastics, dance, and cheer. We tell our students to do more at home. Simple jumps (straight, tuck, straddle, pike, etc.) can even help on the "off" days. Also, if you wanted, try adding another day to your gym regimen. If that doesn't suit you, try a dance class or something fun. Also, extra sleep helps with teens!

    Just remember, all bodies are different. You can easily take all of our advice, but certain things work for certain people. Just keep your goals in mind...as long as they are healthy and realistic and you'll do fine. Good luck to ya!

    you are 13 baby girl, you don't need to worry about ur weight, but if you are that concerned about it don't take piss or weight loss supplements, just exercise, eat right, and it will help. a good exercising program is Denise Austin's: Pilate's work out (doing this i lose 50 lbs in like 6 months and i hardly ever did it, and im still losing weight even though its been almost 2 months since i have done it) and also her fat blasting yoga DVD is good its more strenuous then the other, they both helped me after i had my son, and that weight is HARD to lose.

    * Always chew your food

    * Increase your physical activity

    Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

    In India we use some breath-exercise called "YOGA". In Yoga "Pranayam" is best option for maintaing our body . You can get information on Net. Just search it in web sites and do Yoga. You hv to do some breath-exercise only. I m sure u wil maintain your body within a month. Best of Luck.
