i always feel so nervous and scared at school?
I've just started school, and in the morning I feel so nervous. I sometimes feel nauseous and feel like I have to go to the bathroom for two days so far. What can I do or should I tell the teacher my problems or what?

Oh man, I completely know what you mean. i experianced that throughout my entire time of going to school. Unfortunatly I never got any help for it. What I found out later is that I was suffering from Anxiety. To be honest I would not tell your teacher, I would go to your parents. If you can, just go straight to your doctor and tell them. If you don't want to talk to your parents or cant get to your doctor then go to your school nurse. She will be able to help you figure out how to talk to your parents and get help with this. Most likly all it will take is an anti anxiety medication. Trust me, you will feel so much better and you will deffinatly feel it was worth the trouble to ask someone for help. You will feel better. Good luck,.

It sounds like you might have some social anxiety. Take some time each day to relax, talk to a friend about how you are feeling, and think about what you can do to prepare for the day. If you are nervous about certain classes, start making a list of what in those classes are upsetting you so much, and figure out what you can do to maintain a sense of calm and complacency. It could be as simple as correcting your posture, breathing more slowly, or smiling when you meet someone new. Little things like that make a difference. If it's all too much to handle, you might want to talk to your parents or seek a counselor.
Good luck, and take it easy!

I've got beginning school nerves, too. It happens every semester. Some of us are more highly sensitive than others. I think your nerves will subside in a few more days. Since you mention that you have nausea, maybe a homeopathic flu remedy might alleviate it. I take a product called oscillococcinum, which you can find at most health food stores, like GNC. It really zaps the aches, pains, and nausea. Ask the store clerk what they recommend. Hope you feel better soon.

It sounds like you might have a case of Social Anxiety. There is medications for that, but I never recommend meds for any kind of mind matter. The best thing to do is to face your fear. You already know you're going to be nervous, so just get up and tell yourself you 're not going to let it get to you. If that doesn't work, go to school and speak to a teacher, principle, or other authorative adult and find out if there is an on campus councilor or somebody you can speak to about this. Good Luck!
P.S The suicide rate for teens who take anti-depressants is really high! Don't take meds for it, just talk to a councilorSource(s): I was the same way when I was in highschool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Anxiety

You may have social anxiety disorder. Talk to your parents about how you feel. You'll probably need to go to a psychiatrist to evaluate you. If infact you do have some anxiety problems, he/she will probably put you on an anti-depressiant for both depression and anxiety. It's usually what they do for teens who have anxiety problems. The other medications for anxiety are usually just for adults.
EDIT: I doubt you have anything to worry about with anti-depressiants and the suicide rate. The fact is you probably just have anxiety and not depression. The actual doctor will decide whats best for you to do...not a girl on Yahoo Answers.Source(s): I have social anxiety disorder and panic disorder.

when i started high school, i had the same problem for the first week atleast. Give it time, and u will soon get control of ur nervousness, just attend every day at school and u'll automatically adjust. If u skip school from fear u will make the problem bigger, if u just attend, ur fear and nervousness die down.

I was like that when i was in school. I now wish I could go back and enjoy myself. I really never figured out how to fix the problem.
Just enjoy your self and dont worry about what others think. Dont let peer presure get to you.
