The eyes of my statue of Mary are bleeding, and it's ruining the rug. What gets blood out of carpet?

forget the carpet, make a holy shrine around the statue. ppl will come from miles & miles just to see it. u could be an over-night celebrity, get on some talk-shows. take the statue on a world-wide tour & make enough money to buy a stain-resistant carpet. sweet deal, eh?

I seriously doubt it's blood. It's probably paint that's old & now running. I have an old statue of the Blessed Virgin that was hand painted with oil paints. It's never bled, paint or otherwise. Since it's likely paint, whomever painted it did a shoddy job.

    LOL!

Get the hose out on her! She might need to be painted over, that sometimes stops the bleeding.

haha...ever seen those commercials for tide and crap? i love how they say they get blood stains out, if you have blood stains on your clothes, perhaps you have more important things to worry about
