A Christian is a person who has fully placed his trust in the redeeming sacrifice made by Jesus at the Cross of Calvary for his sins. He understands that Jesus is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob come in the flesh as Messiah for that purpose, and that He rose from the dead as the sealing of the New Covenant. With this understanding, the Christian now has turned away from his sinful lifestyle, and seeks the empowering of the Holy Spirit to walk in faithful obedience to God.

"The Church" is the collective group of all Christians, living or dead. "A Christian Church" occurs when the Holy Spirit draws like-minded living Christians together for the purpose of fellowship, sharing in the Word, sharing of material goods, sharing of the Gifts, and community prayer and praise in Jesus' Name.

"I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life. No one comes to the Father but by ME."

    Jesus speaking

"For there is ONE MEDIATOR between man and God, the man Christ Jesus."

    + Church +

Church is the name given the assembly of the People God has called together from "the ends of the earth."

In Christian usage, the word "Church" has three inseparable meanings:

+ The People that God gathers in the whole world

+ The particular or local church (diocese)

+ The liturgical (above all Eucharistic) assembly

The Church draws her life from the Word and the Body of Christ, and so herself becomes Christ's Body.

In the Creed, the sole Church of Christ is professed to be one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.

    + Christian +

Christian is a name derived from that of Christ himself.

The name refers to all those who have been anointed through the gift of the Holy Spirit in Baptism; hence, the followers of Christ, the members of the Christian Church.

According to Acts 11:26 "it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians."

    + With love in Christ.

Church really does not denote a building, but, in today's world it seems to be defined as such. Actually "church" really means the members in a congregation. Christian is in name only. A true Christian does the out-workings of what Jesus taught to his disciples." This good news of the kingdom will be preached to all the inhabited world for a witness and then the end will come. "So a true Christian would be doing exactly that. Preaching about the Kingdom. Now think who does that in today's world. And on a worldwide scale. If you can figure that out then you will know who are true Christians today. Actions speak louder than words. The way to God is to appreciate the ransom sacrifice that Jesus gave for all of us. His life was the greatest act of love anyone could ever do for their fellow man.

    Church- A body of Christians

Christian- A follower of Christ, one who has admitted they are a sinner and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

There is no other way to the Father then through Jesus Christ.

    John 14:6

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

    God bless!

The church is a place of worship, but it's members are the body of Christ. We are the children of God. The church is a place where we gather to worship our Lord in spirit and in truth. The only way to the Father is through the Son. We have to accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior. We have to change our lives and accept His teachings. We must live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. A Christian must know the Word of the Lord, live the Word of the Lord, and share the Word of the Lord with others. All of that I just described is "Christianity" - to follow the teachings of Jesus.

The church is comprised of all born again believers who have been "called out" of this world and into the family/body of Christ. Jesus said that He was the way the truth and the life and that no one could come to the Father apart from Him. If you are looking to start a church then remember this passage from the Bible and think about what it means in your case.

Psalms 127:1 A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

A church is a house of worship. A Christian is someone who professes to follow the teachings of Christ. In your eqation you must not forget the Holy Spirit. That's something I've noticed about a lot of churches. They acknowledge God and Jesus Christ and ignore the Holy Spirit. Why?

The Church is the same as the Body of Christ. It is His people.

Christian...a person who has studied Christ's teachings and lives accordingly.

The only way to the Father is by Me; Jesus said.

Church is the group of people who spread the word and do His good works. The church doesn't have to be the building. It can be the people in the park, in a house, or in a building. The church is the community force. A Christian is one who lives the way Jesus says we are supposed to live and knows he will come again to lift us up in our darkest hour.
