Lebanon can not do such an act , as the Hezbollah has more in common with lebanese people.

Hezbollah' s base is in Lebanon’s Shiite-dominated areas, including parts of Beirut, southern Lebanon, and the Bekaa Valley. In addition, U.S. intelligence reports say that Hezbollah cells operate in Europe, Africa, South America, and North America. Despite Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon, Hezbollah continues to periodically shell Israeli forces in the disputed Shebaa Farms border zone.

Hezbollah is a Lebanese umbrella organization of radical Islamic Shiite groups and organizations. It opposes the West, seeks to create a Muslim fundamentalist state modeled on Iran, and is a bitter foe of Israel. Hezbollah, whose name means “party of God,” is a terrorist group believed responsible for nearly 200 attacks since 1982 that have killed more than 800 people, according to the Terrorism Knowledge Base. Experts say Hezbollah is also a significant force in Lebanon’s politics and a major provider of social services, operating schools, hospitals, and agricultural services, for thousands of Lebanese Shiites. It also operates the al-Manar satellite television channel and broadcast station.

Hezbollah was founded in 1982 in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, and subsumed members of the 1980s coalition of groups known as Islamic Jihad. It has close links to Iran and Syria

Why should Lebanon now be able to withstand the political Islam? What has really changed in Lebanon? Hezbollah is (again) bribing the population with generous compensations from Iran (but paid by the world in petrol-dollars). Hezbollah will not give up their weapons and if nobody kicks Hassan Nasrallah's behind he will only gain power. Who will have the courage to do this dirty job? It looks as if the multinational force will be Muslim dominated with soldiers from Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia, so don't be too hopeful!

Hezbollah has become more powerful now after Israel's disproportionate invasion on Lebanon. Hezbollah is not a terrorist group as you believe. it is a movement comprising Lebanon communists, Arab social union party members.,and Christians. it was founded with a goal to liberate Lebanon's land occupied by Israel and further the promotion of Palestine people's liberation struggle.

Who are u to question Hizbollah's credential even Lebanese PM Sinora thanked Hizbollah for offering sacrifices for Lebanon. Look at Lebanon army, serving the Israeli army, the attackers, with tea. Had it not been for Hizbollah, Israel would have decimated the whole of Lebanon during these 34 days. Thank your lucky stars, at least rubble is there. Cutting across the christian, muslim, shia divide, hizbollha has emerged as the most popular outfit and it has proven it. Hizbollah fighters returning from the warfront, got themsevles busy with the reconstruction of Lebaon. Have u seen such urgency on any army's part. The group is willing to offer rent to the war-hit so smuch s even willing to pay for the furnishing of the house they want to rent out.

I really hope so. One should distinguish Hezbollah from other militant groups, undisciplined ones as e.g. the PLO.

I hope Hezbollah is clever enough to keep the armystice as strictly as possible and not to let provoke itself by probable attacks from the Israeli side.

By promoting the reinstallation of civil lebanese life and keeping the armystice, Hezbollah would show the world not to be just another terrorist group but to be a reliable and trustworthy partner for the stabilization of the region.

I hope that not only for Lebanon and all the region, I hope it for Israel as well and for all the rest of the world who indirectly suffers from all the problems especially in that region - but in other areas of the world as well.

It's a heavy burden, but Hezbolla is - paradoxically - the only partner strong enough to carry it. If they succeed, it would be a very great success not only for themselves but for the respect of the world towards the arabic world and towards the Islam as well. (I am not Moslem and I am European, remembering history of periods of fruitful interactions between arab and european world. There is not only Carl Martell and not only the Crusades).

If they fail, it will become a catastrophy not only to them, but for the rest of the region and for a peacefull globalization.

i do no longer comprehend what makes lefties run to show to different people who commit acts of terrorism as though that disproves the certainty the the worst terrorist of all time are Muslim. I additionally notice that as quickly as they convey jointly those lists they not often point out the left wing terrorists such as a results of fact the Weathermen or the scholars for a Democratic Society or the Symbionese Liberation military or the unconventional animal rights communities or the unconventional Eco-communities. besides, Islam is way less a faith per peace than it relatively is a faith per submission. many times those 2 words are used interchangably of their language. They belive that peace is barely a threat if we positioned as much as the will of Allah. the will of Allah is notwithstanding their religious chief says it is. So whilst they like peace upon you, what precisely does that mean? .

We can only hope. I do pity the poor people of Lebanon. Years ago I marched and demonstrated to free Lebanon from the ruling Christians and for the civil rights of the Muslims. I never dreamed that someday a branch of the Muslims would do the same thing to the people. I hope their Angels guard them well. I hope Israel can force a peace for all of them and all of Israel. Awful to say-----you have to FORCE the peace. But, Lebanon and Israel both need it.

Hezbollah is not terrorist organiztion according to Lebanese. The peace is not possible without UN and USA enforce pending UN Resolutions by Israel.

Christians and Jews are killing Muslims because they believe they have the God given right to do so according to Bible and you still blame it on Qur'an Laveena. Do you want me to post the Bible verses of killings?

Remember... it is Beiruit where thousands of people danced for joy, in the streets, when the twin towers were attacked on 9/11. Terrorists are inextricably interwoven in the fabric of Lebanese society. The Lenanese army is probably 50% infiltrated by Hezbullah. There will probably have to be another round of fighting before things get sorted out. Too bad Olmert didn't have the balls to do it right the first time.

The majority of Lebaneez do not want to hold off the islamists or Hezbollah... They support them... it is only the westernized rich that want them out so they can rebuild their fortunes. The majority of lebaneez want to see Israel exterminated.
