Genesis: How the Earth was Created? ( be polite)?

Not tring to be disrespectfull.

Bible says in Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses No. 3 and 5,…‘Light was created on the first day.’ enesis, Ch., 1 Verses, 14 to 19… ‘The cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day’. How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day - later than the light which came into existence on the first day? - It is unscientific. Further, the, Bible says Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses 9 to 13… ‘Earth was created on the 3rd day. How can you have a night and day without the earth ? The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth Without the earth created, how can you have a night and day? Point No..4, Genesis, Ch. No. 1 Verses 9 to 13 says… ‘Earth was created on the third day.’ Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses 14 to 19 says…‘The Sun and the Moon were created on the fourth day.’ Today science tells us… ‘Earth is part of the parent body… the sun.’ It cannot come into existence before the sun – It is unscientific.

Update:

Point No. 5, the Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse No. 11 to 13…‘The vegetation, the herbs the shrubs, the trees - they were created on the 3rd day And the Sun, Genesis, Ch. No. 1, Verses. 14 to 19, was created on the 4th day.How can the vegetation come into existence without sunlight, and how can they survive without sunlight ?

Update 2:

Point No.6, that the Bible says in Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses No.16, that…‘God created two lights the greater light, the Sun to rule the day, and the lesser light the Moon, to rule the night. The actual translation, if you go to the Hebrew text, it is ‘lamps’…‘Lamps having lights of its own.’ And that you will come to know better, if you read both the Verses – Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse. 16, as well as 17. Verse No.17 says…‘And Almighty God placed them in the firmament, to give light to the earth… To give light to the earth.’ Indicating, that Sun and the Moon has its own light - which is in contradiction with established scientific knowledge that we have.

Update 3:

I am not being disrespectfull...i was just wondering... i posted it on some fourms and no replys soo...

Update 4:

Yes ofcource god can do what ever he wants. But is the bible was to the humans wouldnt he have made the world in the sence so human minds can understand... oif god wanted he could have just made everything at once... but god wouldnt he have dont it a logical way for humans to understand and accept "christianty"

I am a Muslim ( so i am not all clear with chritianity"

Update 5:

No astunoughts dont have day or night!

Day or night is a creation of human minds...

What is day? - when sun is upon us

What is night? - When Sun is not upon us...

If there was no sun for us then there is no night or day

the light on the first day was not from the sun or the moon. It was likely some ethereal light that is just associated with (and comes directly from) God.

The first light on the earth God just spoke into existence. This is called creation by divine fiat. God just speaks something into existence (which, by the way, is how He created everything, not just light, and not just the sun and the moon and the earth and man, but everything that exists was created this way.

God has a light which naturally flows from Him anyway, as is pointed out in Revelation, where it says there is no need for moon or sun because the light to light the holy city flows from God alone.

MacArthur puts it thus: "Science cannot understand light, much less explain how it came about. This verse [v3 of chapter 1] simply says it was created by an order from God. The One who is uncreated light brought created light into existence. The One who dwells in unapproachable light illuminated His creation with a brilliant object lesson about His glory. What form this light took is not clear. Whether it was merely an ethereal glow or a light that emanated from a specific place is nowhere stated. Actual lights, such as the sun, moon and the stars, were not created until the fourth day. These were permanent light bearers. But light itself, the reality of light, was created on day one. And instantly it separated day from night." - from his book, "The Battle for the Beginning."

By the way, the Bible says that God placed these two great lights in the sky. . they DO both give off light. . the fact that the moon's light is actually originally from the sun does not diminish the fact that we do get light from the moon, and we even call that light "moonlight." This is not contradictory.

Also, God gave the explanation in a very straight-forward way, so that anyone could understand it, a genius or a small child. God has the power to create something instantly just by speaking it into existence, and, according to His Word to mankind, that's exactly what He did.

We can never really understand it, how He did it, other than that.

Even if He had used "evolution" (Darwinism) [ whjch is very anti-science and very unscientific (Darwinian evolution is)], we STILL wouldn't understand it, because God is God and we are nothing but dust.

How would finite and tiny minds like ours ever understand how God does anything?. We wouldn't, right??

Well a little bit of research into Genesis gives us an easy answer. The word for light speaking of the Sun refers to the Sun being a light holder. When God created light it existed apart from the Sun and it was created on the first day so it was available to help the plants and so forth thrive. The Sun is a light holder. God simply created the Sun as a way to hold light much like we use a light bulb. The moon then reflects that light. It's a nice try but when you really look into what the Bible teaches there is nothing unscientific about it.

Ooooh you've opened a can of worms here. Questioning the literal truth of the Bible, no matter how crazy that truth is? I'm sure Christians would argue that the Bible was written by people who didn't understand precisely what it was God was telling them (which was in fact true), so they put it in terms they could understand better. Of course that means that the Bible is only relatively true in parts, so just about anything in it could be called into question as just being the interpretation of the "author"

God Created things the way he did. we will not know until judjement day why He did so. but the fact that He did things the way He did things does cotradict with some scientific beleifs. If you read the first three verses, it sais that God createt the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form or void. so it was there, just without size, shape, or mass. science is a process of trying to understand our univers that God has given us. all that you need to know about the beginnings is in the book of Genesis. genesis means beginning or birth. who cares how things started. the way God made things is the way they are made. the book of revelation says that the sun will one day not give her light and the moon will turn the color of blood. that agrees whith what Genesis sais. do not try to disprove that.

Science has nothing to do with the creation. reread genesis.. pay attention to what it really says. God said let there be light and there was light, he did not say let there be sun and there was sun. he also says the earth was without form. how can you have a night and day without an earth? do astronauts not have night and day without the earth when they are in space? again I encourage you to read and reread the creation the more you read it the more you may understand it...

That's a great question, man. I think it's fairly safe to assume that the account of the creation contained in the Bible isn't meant to be taken literally. Or even metaphorically. My opinion is that the Genesis story is simply a version taken from the Hebrew cosmology. There's no reason to believe that it's actually supposed to have happened. Such fantastic stories about the creation are present in every culture, so it can be mildly irritating to hear people insist on the accuracy of the account in Genesis.

"‘And Almighty God placed them in the firmament, to give light to the earth… To give light to the earth.’ Indicating, that Sun and the Moon has its own light - which is in contradiction with established scientific knowledge that we have."

How is this a contradiction? To give light to the earth indicates a tool to give light, it doesn't assert that the Sun and the Moon has its own light. Your inference in this matter based on what you posted is wrong.

There is no reason to believe that we humans will ever be able to understand creation either using scientific or religious language.

Ok.. God spoke the universe into existance.

2nd Time here isn't the same time God has.

A second is like a million years to him.

And God is God, nothing scientific about him.

its because its just a story that primitive man thought up. It was the best for the time. answered why we die, why woman a below men etc.

heres a little gem for ya before i go

Genesis 1:1 says "In the begining GODS created the heavens and the earth"

Christians think that has something to do with the 'trinity' but it aint.
