Is engineering a reward career?

Don't know about rewarding but in a book by Carol D'Amico, she states that by the year 2020, engineers will be one of the most sought after professions.

Rewarding careers are an individual thing. What is rewarding to one may not be for someone else.

Financially, it's easy to find job, and starting salary is good.
Personally, I guess that's up to you. If that is what you like to do, than it will be a rewarding career.

It relies upon on what you opt to do and what profession field you decide on. Mechanical engineering has an quite extensive sort of purposes. you may finally end up working with stable platforms, fluid pass, warmth circulate, etc. you may finally end up working contained in the aerospace marketplace, motor vehicle, oil & gas, skill era, etc. you need to finally end up doing layout artwork, production, consulting, etc. it somewhat isn't sufficient to declare mechanical engineering profession. do basically a little internships/co-ops and attempt to be sure what you like or dislike earlier you decide on your uniqueness.
