    there is a general rule to this. it is simply the exchange of numbers (for bonding) of one element to the one it's pairing with. chemists will give you a better explanation i think.

    1) Na+ + Br- = NaBr

    2) SO3

    3) Ca2+ + Cl- = CaCl2

    4) Mg3N2
