Do you believe that artificial intelligence will one day control natural intelligence. And will there be a war between the two.

Anything that does not have a soul will be void if actual intelligence. The application is theory without basis.

I believe in what ever comes. I enojy a good discussion on A.I, I think it's a very interesting topic, one that needs attention. I love movies like the Terminator, The Matrix, 2001 Space Odyssey, Animatrix. They deal with A.I and more exactly the relationship between A.I and humans. I think that the future is at the same time your best dream, and your worst nightmare. I believe we will keep advancing. I believe robots will have more responcibility and role in our society. If you don't think that, then you agree, that it was a dumb idea that Bill Gates was dreaming about when he envisioned a weird metal box in every home that could do so many things. I believe we will create strong A.I, smart A.I, because always the more we advance the more problems we face. Thats the way it is. A.I will help us. As to what happens after that, it could be anyones guess. Many people are saying that we will create A.I so intelligent that it will finally say, "Why?" "Who am I?" "Why am I?" "Why do I listen? Do I have to? Should I?" At that point in future, we will need to compromise, because it will become impossible to give A.I more intelligence without giving it the power to ask those kinds of questions.

Well, you have a great plot for a great si-fic movie. I believe no, as without a soul artificial intelligence will have no feelings or moral value on life. There will only be a war as always between good and evil. I believe God made man and gave us the ability to create all these wonderful gadgets, but we really cannot create true life. Even cloning would be impossible without Adam and Eve to start the cycle, which came from God. Have you not seen War of the Worlds, a STUPID and dumb movie about such a subject and made to bring fear into people. I have enough faith in people and in the God that made us to answer this question with NO.

As my AI professor nicely put it: "there is really no intelligence in AI, they are simply computation algorithm to solve a particular kind of problem, like search, pattern recognition, optimization". To me, the current trend of AI research is to focus on solving problems that a normal human cannot do by hand, such as placing and routing 1 million transistors on a chip. However, there are also research to mimic the human brain through neural network, and solve problems using a computer like how human does it with their brains. It will take a long while to get to the point where computing power and memory storage is comparable to the human brain. At that point, it may be possible to develop true AI, but they are still bounded my man-made rules. Even so, I don't think it is possible to put the "human nature" or "consciousness" into these machines, which is the root of all conflicts. Unless we specifically program greedy and hatred inside the AI....

Who knows? Had someone asked my father if there would be such a thing as artificial intelligence, he would have laughed and said "no way". Actually, if someone had told my father that there would be personal computers in most every home, he would have said "no way" supplemented with "what is a personal computer?". I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

no. artificial intelligence has one drawback - the more they have to do the slower they become. Humans will always be able to control artificial intelligence as long as they keep them busy

yes. Artificial intelligence depend on probability and past experience.it not predict new situation.

artificial intelligence will have its flaws

it is like applying human emotions to robots, it cant be successful cause we humans know what sad is, or what being hurt is

No war but i think we will be to dependent on each other.it'll make us unseperable from machines

I don't think we'll make it to that for a thousand years, we are still fighting each other's ideas too much.
