is the TI-84 plus silver edition graphing calculater allowed on the SAT?

    I was allowed to use my TI-89 calculator, so you should be fine.

    I think graphing calculators are allowed on the SAT, but maybe not programmable. I should know, I'm a science teacher, but I don't know for sure. What you should do is check out the website for the SAT and ACT. They'll have that information online. Try typing "College Board" into a search engine like Google and pick around with the results until you find what you're looking for. It should be there.

    screw the TI 84, Get the YI 89 and download the "answers in decimals program" and you'll pretty much own that test.
