Most invertebrate groups have more than 2 eyes. Spiders will have either 6 or 8 eyes depending on their necesity. Insects have what are called compound eyes, these are made up of hundreds of tiny individual eyes or Ocelli. Insects also have simple eyes, commonly known as ommatidia, these are located between the compound eyes and are used in orientation and light detection.

Centipedes have what look like 2 eyes, but upon closer inspection reveal two clusters of more than 20.
