Don't let her immune system build stronger resistance. Her sterile world could lead to her having allergies later on and not good at resisting germs she will come into contact with.

Over sanitizing does more harm than good a normal wash if the toy is quite dirty with washing liquid and water with a good rinse is all she needs.

Her immune system need to be trained to fight off infection and identify germs and viruses quite early while her natural immunity is strong. Immunity system training is very important for her well being throughout her life and prevent complications when she is older including asthma.

We used to just use dettol and then wipe off with a baby wipe.

On the odd occassion we'd pour boiling water over it, but make sure it is cooled before handing it back.

We need to ensure that babies do not put germs in mouths, but it's impossible to prevent all. It's sometimes better knowing that the house / area is clean and sterile thus anything picked up will be fairly clean and germ free.

Either spray them with Lysol spray or wipe with Clorox ready wipes or clorox makes the new spray called anywhere spray that is safe for kids, etc. I like to use that on my kids toys especially after they have had a cold or something that I dont want them getting again

THERE is this new product on the market called Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface daily sanitizing spray. It kills 99.9% of bacteria and is safe to use on almost anything, including children's toys, high chairs, etc. And no rinsing necessary! I love it, and use it all the time!

Wash them occasionally with normal detergent, but don't go overboard with sanitising and disinfecting everything - It's an established fact that if the child's environment is too clean, it compromises their immune system because their body doesn't have the experience of fighting off diseases, and they will be more susceptible to illness in later life. So, be sensible, but not so fastidious that you have an adverse effect on your baby's long term health.

Clorox or lysol wipes would do the trick, but you want to let them air dry before your baby gets to them again.

Actually you do not need to sanatize them. I read a study that said germs are good for young children because it helps to bolster the immune system.

    lysol wipes - anything similar.

although if the toys aren't for chewing on you really should watch that behavior.
