Is liberalism a mental disorder ???

Like other disorders such as alcoholism, most suffering is experienced by those who have to live with the afflicted. Secondary suffering is incurred by a society which must live with the effects of the delusions of the afflicted.

Man, you are right on target. I would agree that it is a mental disorder. I sit here and read posted questions all day long from the mindless morons who have nothing better to do than bash Bush. They ought to look at what makes their own party unelectable. Liberals should all move to Mass., where they can be guided by Ted Kennedy, at least when he's not holed up at the local liquor store.

Judging by the symptoms you mentioned, you're describing a mental disorder known bushitis. It first reached epidemic proportions in 2004, when 51% of the American population was affected with it. Fortunately the number of affected Americans as of 2006 has dropped down to only 34% of the population. A further decline is expected. All of this prompts me to ask, how have you been feeling lately?

is free speech a speech disorder?

Why do Americans have such problems with differences of opinion? Our country was founded becuase people were sick of the repression of ideas and inability to have thier own beliefs, yet now we nitpick over these differences and call each other names like small children. People are allowed to believe differently than you do. It's not a disease, it's normal human behaviour.

The Liberals were the Patriots when the country first got started. Conservatives, on the other hand, wanted to stick with Mad King George. As the story ended up, Conservatives did a tuck-tail headed north to Canada and we were almost rid of them.

Reading your post elicited some sympathy from me. I know of a solution. Boil your Viagra in a spoon and inject locally. Rush will appear in color when you tune in on the radio.

Yes. And to the same extent that being a conservative is. To quote Winston Churchill (from what I have read) "If you are not a liberal at 20 you have no heart, if you are not a conservative at 40 you have no head" I believe any tine you want to force people to do/not do something that is a mental disorder. The liberals want to give personal freedom (particularly regards sex, sexual preference ...) but want to take my economic freedom (more control of my money, taxes, social security, my economic choices).

The conservatives want to give me economic freedom but take personal freedom. Since I do not need as much personal freedom as the liberals would give me but want as much economic freedom as I can get I have to side with the conservatives. But I really am a libertarian.

I keep thinking maybe you will ask a good question one of these days. I guess it's not be be. But answering them does give me some easy points--and a few minutes' diversion.

"Liberalism" and "Conservatism" are both communicable diseases, like measles and mumps. I suffered more from mumps than measles, but neither were as bad as whooping cough and pneumonia, both of which threatened to take my life before I was seven years old. Those are the diseases to avoid. You'll know it if you come down with one of those.

In the meantime, the only effective treatment I know of for "Liberalism" and "Conservatism" is "Moderation," but like most medicines these days it may be too costly for most of us to afford--unless we go to Canada!

Now, that's quite enough "heroic liberalism" for one day. Good night. Enjoy your Boy George DVD's.

One just has to look at people like Ann Counter, Rush and rest of right wing mouth pieces and moral leaders of the religious right to make conservatism a mental disorder.

Awesome speculation, what u just said has art in it, beautiful! Yeah u know its just a bored society, and ironically it has the influence to bore all sane peoples of america, due to repetive acts of stupidness, the only difference is that there is not cure or treatement for these nasty little infection spreaders. Sometimes i wish the infected could all just go to rehab in Iraq

I think you where confused with being a conservative see conservatives are idiots example George W Bush while Liberals are smart example John F Kennedy may he rest in peace.

No, you must have liberalism confused with being RepubliCon. That is a mental disorder of the worst kind!
