Calcium Powder?

If I put a little calcium powder in a spray bottle, is that another way my toad can get her calcium? Right now I shake her crickets with a little once a week. Is that enough? Only answer if you know.

I see what you are getting at, with frogs asorbing vitamins, etc.. through their skin, but I would recommend just using plain distilled water to mist your frog. I would also dust the crickets every time you feed your frog. Also, wax worms are more nutritious than crickets but are a bit large and not suitable for all frogs. I'm a reptile expert.

  • The cricket thing should be enough, but you could also put some in it's water dish or go ahead with the spray bottle. If you put it in it's water source it'll have to drink and/or absorb it.
