You need to lift weights. Strength training develops muscle, more muscle mass leads to an increased metabolism, and on the scale muscle weighs more than fat. So you can look 110, but wiegh 120.

Try lifting. You can focus on certain spots and burn fat while building muscle there (don't worry, you won't bulk up). You'll also add tone, which looks great. However, I do recommend doing cardio because it's so good for you, but that's the area that will cause you to lose the most weight. To prevent this, stock up on protein and healthy carbs. If you don't feel like looking into the fitness stuff, you can also drink shakes by ensure (yes, the ones for old people). They helped prevent me from losing weight and stay healthy for years when it was most important during track season. I promise you'll love the results!Source(s): Coaches

I know how you feel. I lose weight easily, and get underweight too fast if I'm not careful. The only way to do it is to eat well and do toning exercises like crunches and lunges. Get a good tape if you need to, just not a high impact aerobic one!
You can still exercise, as long as you keep eating well.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

You could try toning up with weights, cardio, and aerobics. But everyone reacts to fitness differently depending on how fast their metabolisim is. I would suggest talking to your doctor or getting a referral to a nutrionist who can better determine what foods foods have the most positive/negative effect on your body.

resistance training or weights. As you excersice the fat will get used and be replaced by muscle. Muscle weighs more so don't be surprised if your weight goes up as you tone up.

Palettes. Will only firm and tighten your body. You can get a video and do at home.. or join a gym for the classes.

i would say that you should try pilates!... like Widsor pilates, killer on the muscles and you can feel it work! also cut back on foods that slow down your natural metabolism... it doesnt sound like dieting is the answer, just excersize and toning up!

Please read the recommendations below. Also, go to the book store and locate the book "Weight Training for Dummies". In chapter 15 you will find excellent information on how to perform abdominal exercises correctly. Page 218 of the book dispels all the myths surrounding abdominal training.
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/we...
Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
Here are two articles on how to break through a weight loss plateau:
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com/
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.
