I saw an ad for a solar powered air conditioner that hangs on the car window.?

It's solar powered. It will keep the car at around 75 degrees on a 95 degree day. I seen it advertised a couple of weeks ago and didn't have a pen to write the number to call down. It reminds me of a speaker from a drive-in movie.

It's not an air conditioner, It's a solar powered fan that ventilates hot, stagnate air out of your car. they cost about 20 bucks.

wow you had a Ase certified tech answer and fifty other people that are taking a stab at it.

I own one, and let me tell you greatest invention ever.....well it was a good idea...

First of all it leaves a small crack in your window enough for some water to get in

Second its solar powered so your at the mercy of the sun, it has no battery the sun stops and so dose it

It blows air out of the car and is not powerful at all if the solar panel is dirty it will barely spin

The worst thing of all DOSE NOT WORK WITH TINTED WINDOWS in the brightest sun NOTHING

And finally did i feel a difference in temp??

Not at all, its a cool device but it doesn't work

    Hope that helps

I have a bridge for sale.

You can park under it and your car will be out of the sun and much cooler.

it can't lower the temperature of the car lower than the ambient outside temp. It may be able to keep the car from getting like an oven.

If it works, please let me know.
