White/ kinda see through nails?
I see many celebrities on television, models in magazines/catalogs, and women on the home shopping network with these really pretty nails. They are like a white color but you can sort of see through them that there is a SLIGHT pink color, perhaps the nail bed right? Anyhow what is that? Their nails are shiny but like a white or cream color. Is that a type of artificail nail formula or a nail polish?

It is called a French Manicure.
Here is an article about manicures...the picture is a french manicure.

You can get fake nails or you can buy a set of 3 nail colors and do it your self. It involves putting white nail polish on the part you clip off. Then, you put a pinkish clearish color over the whole nail. Then a clear finish. At Walmart they sell the set of 3 different Nail Polishes.

They are clear tips. If you go to a nail salon, ask them to put on the clear tips. They look more natural and for whatever reason, they last longer.
