How many continents are there and what are their names?

I have talked to people from different countries, and everywhere they learn a different number of continents, as well as different names for them.

For example in Costa Rica, we are taught that there are 5 continents, which are: Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania.

How about you? What did you learn?

Update:

For those of you who learned that there was North America and South America, where is Central America then? In South America?

In Costa Rica we learned that there is only one America, which includes North America, Central America, and South America.

Update 2:

Please say what country you are from.

I teach World History in Costa Rica and can tell you that there are 7 continents: North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia/Oceania, Antartica, and South America. While Latin America is often taught as a separate continent in Costa Rica, it is actually a cultural region.
