well it depends on the maturity of both the man and the woman involved.. i was 20 when i started dating my boyfriend who is 14 years older then me.. we get a long great.. age is n;t an issue with us.. many guys in their late teens, early twenties are very immature and i know that with me, i didn't want to be with someone that was like that.. i don't think i will ever date someone my age unless i was much older..

yes i have friends that date older males they say they r tired of teenage boys they say they r 2 immature for them and they don't know how to treat a girl. but me i prefer dating someone my age or a year older.
