how will i know when my friends and family email me at my yahoo address?

well there are two ways that i know of. the first way that i know is you can check daily. the second way to know is to get yahoo messenger. yahoo messenger is like msn and you can set it to automatically log on so whenever you get an email from them a little box will pop up, then go back down.

You'd have to be logged into yahoo messenger or install the yahoo toolbar for you to be notified.

http://messenger.yahoo.com/ alerts you when you have mail in your yahoo account. also you can get alerts in your my yahoo and yahoo calendar. but there is no way to get it to play a sound
