do you support illegal immigration, and please explain your reason why or why not.?

You know it's the hottest issue out there right now. The government loves illegals, secretly, but they put up a front that they would rather protect the borders. You can't have it both ways. What do you think? Do you approve of illegal aliens being here?

I don't. Why not? The "illegal" part of their title should pretty much explain why not.

Illegal is illegal and should not be permitted. Yes, send them back with enough food and water for a couple of weeks to reestablish themselves on , it is more that they came with. The security issue is bad also with terrorists running around and getting into America.Make the educated illegals return home and make their own country better, after all they have a free education they need to use. It will be rough for the children but our own kids are suffering through overcrowded schools and teachers giving too much class time to English as a second language students so they can understand the lesson. I am a bleeding heart and always help people in need. I just think our nation"needs" security and financial stability and our schools "need" to educate our kids better with more teacher time and more funds that are being stretched now. We are building more schools, hiring more teachers and aids that speak a second language, which is giving teaching jobs to the immigrants, and our kids need to have all the advantages that America can give them. Illegal immigrants need to go home and fix their problems and if they still want to come here then fill out the papers and wait. I am not being mean, ,just practical.

No I don't support it... Illegals need to get back in line like the others who have done the legal process(like I have).

Many who have done the legal process had to wait several years before their paperwork have been approved. It takes ALOT of patience and time and hard work to finally become a citizen.

And we're letting millions of others come in as they please just by crossing and jumping over fences! How is that fair for the once who have gone the legal path to citizenry?

Might as well ban the process of becoming a legal resident or a citizen(i.e. taking the tests and oaths). And what would be the point of having the status of 'citizen' if anyone is allowed the benefits?

For one, the US is trying to control overpopulation and since it is now more crucial for the US to secure the borders(due to terrorism), they are not going to take any more chances.

And I hope the border patrolers are actually doing their jobs.

I've written countless papers on the issue. And could do so here, but I don't wanna write a novel. Simply put, yes, i'm all for immigration. Some say this issue is a cop out to distract people from Bush's short commings as a president. Maybe so. But you have ot remember this issue has been around for decades and all of a sudden it's a national security issue.

We can't blame 9/11 because people only started talking about this a year ago.

So why am i for it? Because this is now a human rights issue. People die entering this country, they die for things they dream of, things they'll never have. The American Dream. So why should we keep it from them? Many can't afford to wait 12 years for citizenship, many can't afford it with money, period. So I ask again, why hoard the dream for ourselves? Are we not humans seeking that same dream, the only difference is we were born here...and we can't blame immigrants for circumstance.

Our nation was founded by people who arrived here from other countries, so technically, unless we are Native American Indians, then we are here illegally because we took the land away from the legal residents and put them on reservations. We tricked them into selling Manhattan for 24 dollars.

I don't believe that people should come here illegally, but I do support those who try to become citizens. I know someone I worked with from El Salvador and they worked hard and became a citizen, followed by their spouse. Their 2 children are citizens because of their citizenship. I helped them to study for the citizenship test, which by the way, a good many Native Born Americans probably would not pass. I didn't know some of the questions myself and I had to look them up.

The point is that if people want to do it the legal way, I support them 100%. That, after all, is what our ancestors did when they came here on the Mayflower. I found my El Salvadorean friends to be very nice people, very hard working, and good citizens. They passed and brought their citizenship award into work to show all of us. There are no finer people anywhere in my opinion, so if they want to do it legally, then fine. If they don't, they should be deported back home.

No I don't,and never will ! I'm fed up going into my local town, being intimidated by groups of men, "hanging around" doing nothing! Groups of 10-15 dotted about all over the town!ALL seem to be pretty well off! Latest gear, smoking, mobile phones, the lot!! Where are they getting the money?? Sure as hell not through working! This Government is totally impotent when it come to the immigrant issue, what are they doing?? Absolutely nothing! The sooner they are out of office the better, never to be heard of again!!!!! If you want this issue stopped, maybe you should think of voting UKIP,next time around!!

I support LEGAL aliens. Illegals are a drain to law abiding, tax paying citizens. My stance is, if you are gonna come over here and not play by the rules to be here, then what's stopping you from commiting crimes against the citizens of our country? You already proved you will do something against the law? How far are you willing to go? It's not that hard to go through the proper channels and get a frickin' resident alien card. Play by the rules.

No- because too many illegals are able to use the things that only citizens should be using. I think that we need to work on making it easier to become a citizen, but we still need to send all those illegal butts home so that can try it again the right way.

You kinda hit the nail on the head. The government, both parties, love wets, they nanny their kids, mow their lawns, build fences.

If they actually enforced the law then anyone hiring a wet would face a penalty. I don't disapprove of them being here they are just doing whet they need to do to get by. Its the people that enable them that I have a problem with, you know who you are and that in a nutshell IS the real issue.

    I Endorse

    Border Security (Militarized)

    Employer Sanctions(Strictly Enforced)

    Enforcement (Aggressive)

    NO Amnesty (Mass Deportation)

    In That Order

Theres Too Many Reasons To Explain Why

    Well your so right.

On one hand our govt. claims it to be against the law to have illegals here, but on the other, they don't enforce the laws to keep them out....

As for me, its about human rights. I was fortunate enough to have been born here. I am not going to pretend that I have entitlement over another human being simply by virtue of where I was born. I didn't choose to be born here, nor did an illegal choose to be born in a third world country.

I feel those who are already here, should be allowed to stay. They do contribute to society despite what others here say.

I feel we SHOULD enforce the existing laws or not have them at all....
