Try the libraries. UC Davis library should have some great resources.

The library does not carry criminal records so that is a really bad suggestion. Go to the Court ( whether Superior or Municipal) and ask the Court Clerk where records are kept. Last time I checked Yolo County had NOTHING available electronically or online and all the records are paper files kept in file cabinets. If it is an older record, you will probably have to request it from archives, which may take up to one week. Be prepared to show I.D. You will have to find the number/court case BEFORE you request, that is, unless you get a really helpful counter clerk who can do it for you in half the time. By the way, they do not move very fast there, so be prepared to invest some time ( although it is free unless you want to make copies ).
