Well, that's a funny question. I've been a consumer of electronic components, accessories, and speakers for well over a score of years now and I have not found any Bose so-called "music systems" superior to any comparatively priced Yamaha, Denon, Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins, Klipsch, Outlaw, Pioneer, Sony, Onkyo, Kenwood, Boston Acoustics, etc., etc. Actually, quite the contrary.
I have auditioned quite a few Bose products over the years, and I could never bring myself to purchasing any of them (even though when I had visited a Bose store in a mall and the salesperson was most helpful and persuasive, my ears couldn't deny the simple fact that it didn't sound that good), especially for the price.
Unless you're talking about their marketing skills, advertising, and packaging, and the number of patents they own, and perhaps their profits, then I would have to agree with you 100% on those aspects that they are their superior.
