Does toffee candy(ie. skor, heath bar) contain nuts?
- 1 decade agoFavorite Answer
Neither Skor nor Heath do. Toffee is basically sugar, water and cream, and both of those candies have a chocolate coating. Sometimes things like English Toffee contain nuts (usually its a layer of toffee, a layer of chocolate and crushed almonds).

I think Toffee is just butter flavored sugar. Not sure though. If you are alergic, defenitely check the ingrediants

It doesn't, but if you are allergic to nuts, the label should say nut-free...if it may contain traces of nuts, it can be dangerous for you to eat.

Some contain crushed almonds. Best to read the labels carefully.

I know at least Heath does. In the list of ingrediants it says "Almond (roasted in cocoa butter and/or sunflower oil"

no, but they are both made in a place that processes nuts. go to all recipes and find you a toffee recipe.
