I'm at a loss... why would you need a DL to work on an offshore oil rig? Perhaps to get to and from the Crew Boat or the Helicopter pad. A lot of those guys who work on the rigs have had their drivers licenses suspended.

I wouldn't think you'd need a driver's license, but you probably would need some form of photo ID and proof of your right to be there.
