When dialling from PC to PC, a no voice signal can be detected from other computer appears, why is this so?

Check if headset cable is plug to the right hole. You can use first Sound Recorder if your system's sound is working perfectly.

Check also on the VOLUME properties which was current selected (see RECORDING control) by your system.
