How do you correct a regional error on a dvd player?

Question

I made a picture slideshow at home which include mp3's. The movie works fine on my dvd player at home but gives a regional error code on my Grandma's dvd player. We both live in the US.

if you're very smart then you can like try to alter it some how but...you can easily buy a dvd player that is region free and will play any dvd from any part of the world...you can buy them very cheap on sites like ebay and stuff like that...or maybe your problem is when you were encoding the region format you must have clicked another region beside north america

Why would you put a region code on a homemade DVD? Reburn the picture slideshow again without the region setting. Need more info what software was used to burn the disc .Mp3 on a DVD? You resample it to 48000Khz? or convert ot ac3?

If all else fail, why not give grandma a cheap region-free player?
